Boost Mobile – Save 20% On Phones Through 12/3/2010
Through December 31, 2010 Update: promo expires December 3, 2010 — save yourself 20% on any Boost Mobile phone (free shipping) via their site using promotion code HOLIDAY20.
Boost Mobile is a no contract prepaid cellular provider owned by Sprint and they offer both CDMA (Sprint) and iDen (the old Nextel) service through their prepaid phone service. The majority of their newer CDMA technology phones use the Sprint frequencies so you’ll have a similar coverage pattern as you would if you paid for Sprint. I have a Boost phone and the coverage is good however you will not roam (at least I was never able to) in most areas if Sprint does NOT have coverage (pretty typical for a prepaid service).
Boost Mobile offer’s .10/minute anytime prepaid rates and also have unlimited plans for $50 per month ($60 for BlackBerry) and their new Shrinkage plan provides for lowering your monthly unlimited fee provided you pay on time by $5 for every 6 payments (down to a minimum of $35/mo).
The phones are actually pretty good – though as with most prepaid services they are a model or two behind what you currently can purchase.
So far as I can tell from the site this promotion does not appear to apply to re-fills of airtime on accounts.
