Segway Owner James Heselden Dies After Apparently Driving His Segway Over a Cliff

James Heselden who bought the New Hampshire based company that makes Segway personal transport devices in December has died after reportedly driving one of his own Segways off a cliff in Boston Spa, 140 miles north of London.

At one time the Segway was hyped as the next big thing in public transportation. With some tech experts proclaiming that entire cities could spring up around this new invention.
