Is Amazon Preparing To Sell The Google Nexus One?

For now the Nexus One phones listed on Amazon are all from third party sellers. And apparently the phones, priced around $700,  are primarily aimed at people who don’t realize the direct from Google price is $529. If you look quickly it’s very tough to tell who exactly is offering the Nexus One for sale.  Most phones on Amazon are sold through a partnership with Wirefly. Still other phones, typically unlocked devices such as the Nexus One are sold by third party sellers.

However if you look at little closer at Amazon page which displays the Nexus One there are a couple extra features that make me wonder if Amazon is about to start selling the Nexus One themselves.

While the presence of an extended description — which states “Amazon.com Product Description” doesn’t by itself mean that Amazon will soon (or ever) start selling the Google Nexus One – however I find it odd that I can’t find any other third party sold phones  labeled with an Amazon Product description or with as  extensive a description.
