Happy Birthday to The Sims! Inside Look at How Voices Are Created

Today is the 10th anniversary of The Sims game. Electronic Arts, the company behind the game,  has sold  125 million Sims role playing games since being created February 4, 2000. If you haven’t seen the Sim game before it’s a role playing game where you take on the character of a Sim (for simulation – get it? ).

Over time these characters develop personality – and even their own language. I was out at Electronic Arts in Redmond City California for Blogger Day last year and captured this video which is a behind the scenes look at the studio where all the voices are added to the role playing games.
