Sprint Overdrive Mobile Hotspot Promises 4G Speeds For Both Home and Mobile Users

Sprint has announced a new 3G/4G mobile hotspot called Sprint Overdrive ($99 after $50 rebate and 2 year contract) with speeds (3-6 Mbps) of up to 10 times faster than those of the previous 3G networks(600 k  – 1.7 Mbps). Up to 5 devices share one mobile hotspot. Sprint is the first national wireless carrier to test, launch and market 4G technology, which delivers download speeds up to 10 times faster than 3G.
