foursquare for BlackBerry (beta)

foursquare for BlackBerry is not yet out in an official version – although a link to download the beta version has been circulating for the past week or so. This popular location aware social media application has versions for Android and iPhone which allow you to “check in” at various locations (earning points for each) and compete against your friends to see who can accumulate the most check ins. If you’re curious about the unreleased BlackBerry beta version you can download it directly OTA (Over The Air) to your BlackBerry via the http://foursquare.com/blackberry/beta-pacman URL. Reports from the Internet are that this is a pretty stable build. Of course you’ll need to create a foursquare account first – and then you’ll actually need to leave your house to check in somewhere.
