nook eBook SIM Card Not Usable In Phone

att sim card

Judie at Geardiary is out with her review of the Barnes and Noble nook. One interesting part  of her detailed review (Full review of Barnes & Noble Nook) is that she observed the nook ships with a SIM card from AT&T. This allows for wireless downloading of purchased content. As any good gadget hound would be compelled to do she removed the SIM from the nook and tried it in her HTC Touch HD2. No go. Read her observations about halfway through her full review.

hmmm….i just googled this….but the HD2 is a T-Mobile phone, so it's locked to tmobile and has a diffrent 3G frequency for it's phones….so…. to really test you need something like an iPhone

Pavel, I had an unlocked European HD2 with an AT&T SIM in it, so all things were equal. :-)
