HTC Hero with AT&T Compatible 3G – $580

It may be a long wait for AT&T to start carrying Android based phones. At this point there’s been no official announcement and all the phones that you could buy from overseas had incompatible high speed technology. That means an imported phone would run – but only at relatively poky EDGE based speeds. Now there’s an HTC Hero model with a relatively poky Qualcomm MSM7200A 528 Mhz processor but it includes those precious  850/1900 MHZ frequencies that are compatible with AT&T 3G in the USA. Be prepared to pay dearly though as the cost of the phone is $580.
