The entire Flip Mino series of portable video recorders was suppose to be rendered dead and done by the introduction of video on the iPhone (and other smartphones). While smartphone video capabilities might be slowing sales of the Flip Mino they’ve certainly not killed them. One good thing that’s happening is the Flip portable video camera is getting more affordable than ever. If you haven’t used a Flip  before you’re in for a treat. The portable camera captures video (the length varies depending on model) and uses a retractable USB connector to upload it to your computer. Holds 60 minutes of HD-quality video (1280 x 720 resolution at 30 frames per second; 16:9 widescreen) on 4 GB of built-in memory.
