Droid Has Been Rooted

DROID-by-Motorola-open

Time Magazines gadget of the year for 2009 has just been opened up for hackers. The popular Android hack, known as rooting, opens up the device so that users can load themes or programs that the device manufacturer disallowed at the operating system level. People who do this may want to load customized versions of operating systems or programs that enable wireless tethering – both things that are disallowed on standard Droid Android phones. For the vast majority of owners there’s no need to root your Droid. Among that problems that can occur (other than voiding the warranty) is that you’ll no longer receive automatic operating system upgrades over -the-air (OTA). Still insisting on rooting your Droid smartphone? See the link below.
