Droid 2.0.1 Update Slowing Browser?

google droid 2.0.1 browser lag

More than a few Droid users who’ve received the initial 2.0.1 Android update are reporting that the speed at which their Droid’s web browser scrolls has become “choppy”. The reports seemed to have originated at Androidforums and are now being tracked on the main Google Android Code as issue 5286 – Browser lags when scrolling after 2.0.1 Update on Motorola DROID. Updates rolled out on a test basis to 10,000 Droid users with the remainder scheduled to receive their Droid updates at the pace of 100,000 user per day starting December 10, 2009.
