My local Walmart (Rocky Hill, CT) was displaying this promotion tonight. It promises a statement credit of $50 for switching from a competing carrier. This appears to be above and beyond any of the existing discounts for the phone which Walmart includes in the price of their phone (no rebate required). The expiration date had originally been November 30 and there was a handwritten note that the new expiration was December 31, 2009.
