Amazon introduced PayPhrase at the end of October 2009. This new authentication system is based on a unique phrase that’s tied to a default payment and shipping address in your Amazon account. You can setup multiple PayPhrases for your Amazon account and each of them can contain separate payment and shipment information. Spending limits can also be entered so, for example, you might create a PayPhrase for the kids with a pre-set limit that equals their allowance for the week.
Now Amazon is rolling out a new promotion that applies either a 5% or 10% discount against purchases made atcertain participating merchants in their store. Look for the CashBack with PayPhrase buttons when you checkout at Amazon.com or participating merchant sites. Place your order using PayPhrase wherever you see the CashBack with PayPhrase buttons. Orders must ship by December 31, 2009 for a purchase to be deemed eligible for the CashBack Rewards program.
