XM SkyDock available for $120 – next stop Woot! at $29

XM Sky DockIf you’re someone who enjoys cluttering your car’s power adapter with over-priced gadgets then rejoice because your ship has come in. Sirius XM announces that their hardware adapter that converts an iPhone or iPod Touch into a Sirius XM controller can now be purchased for $120. Of course the rest of the world streams radio over either Wi-Fi or 3G cellular. Sirius tried releasing an iPhone application which wasn’t positively received due to lack of content (namely some of their star talent such as Howard Stern had contracts prohibiting it). A better choice for most people is WunderRadio for $6.99 which will stream all the Sirius XM channels – even Stern.
