The Sprint HTC Hero update is now available. This Android 1.5 update fixes several issues including a pesky inability for regular headphones to play stereo sound, improves the HTC widget clock accuracy,  when you make a call now a speaker icon pops up and a microphone on the screen now giving you the option of just pressing the icon without having to hit menu.

Steps to do a firmware update ota on Sprint Hero:
1. Goto Home screen by pressing home button
2. Click Menu
3. Click Settings
4. Scroll Down to Bottom and Click About Phone
5. Click System updates
6. Click Firmware update
7. Follow instructions
