Pocket Informant 2 for BlackBerry Released

WebIS have just released version 2.0 of their Pocket Informant for BlackBerry calendar, task and contact management application. If you’ve struggled (as I have) with the default calendar on your BlackBerry then you may want to try Pocket Informant for 21 days free. The application adds a new Today screen, loads of GTD (Getting Things Done time and project management). I particularly like the weekly view which shows a detail snapshot of all your activities for the coming week. The calendars can all be configured to the way you work by modifying daily start/end times as well as numerous options for each view. A version is also available for iPhone.

New features include:
New look in all views, new edit/view dialogs etc.
Search View
Today View
Icons/colors assigned to contacts/events/tasks without categories
Templates
Contacts linking to events/tasks
Journal sync to Outlook
Getting Things Done (GTD) Support
Franklin Covey Support
