Palm Pre – $79 at Amazon – gives even more incentive to avoid Pixi

palm pre 79 at AmazonThe Palm Pre price point slid another $20 at online retailer Amazon. This comes as Palm just launched their less capable (smaller screen / no Wi-Fi) Pixi online (Amazon has it for $49 after contract). The Palm Pre is a good choice for anyone not looking to deal with the complexity of Android and needing pretty good email, contact and calendar integration to Google and Yahoo services (added in WebOS 1.3.1).
