Linksys WRT160N Ultra RangePlus Wireless-N Broadband Router – $29 (refurb)

My theory on wireless routers is that you should buy the cheapest you can find – and always have a spare. The routers in my office seem to have a lifespan of about 12 months and just love to die unexpectedly the day I’m due to host and Internet web conference call. Inevitably when the router dies I’m forced to trekĀ  to theĀ  office supply store and pay 4x what I should because I didn’t have the foresight to keep a spare router on hand. Here’s your chance to pick up an inexpensive router (or two) that can serve as your primary or spare device. This is a refurbished model but honestly it seems like if you get a year out of these you’ve won the lottery so refurb is probably as good as new – at least measured in router years.
