iPDA iHandstick Provides Gamepad Feel for iPhone and Touch

As the saying goes – the best gaming device is the one that you have with you (ok, so I made that up). The iPhone and iPod Touch are convenient gaming devices because they’re almost always within arms reach of those who own them. One awkward thing about both the iPhone and Touch is they get uncomfortable to hold for extended periods in a “gaming position”. Frequently my iPhone has dropped as I twisted and turned it to activate a game’s screen control. The iPDA iHandstick hopes to do away with the discomfort that can accompany lengthy gameplay. Fitted for either the iPhone 3G, 3GS or iPod Touch this portable holder keeps the device firmly mounted inside an XBox-like mount. There’s no added functionality beyond increasing your grip but that’s probably enough to justify the $12 – especially if a better grip saves you from dropping and shattering your iPhone/Touch screen.
