HTC Releases Free Sense UI Update for Magic Phones

HTC have officially rolled out a free Sense UI upgrade for certain regional models of their HTC Magic Android phones. This version only works with the HTC Magic for Hong Kong markets though the hope is that the remainder of the Magic (including the T-Mobile MyTouch 3G) will be in line for a ROM update soon. The Sense UI is HTC’s “special sauce” that massages the Android interface with a number of helpful widgets such as the flip clock (shown above) as well as Twitter, Facebook and People widgets that greatly enhance the stock Android interface. The Sense UI is currently featured in the US on Android phones carried by Sprint (HTC Hero) as well as Verizon (Droid Eris).
