Last night for a period of only a few minutes my Google Voice phone number played a message to anyone that called saying it was out of service. During this time I wasn’t able to connect via my Droid using the native Google Voice application. I also could not call my Google Voice number directly without reaching and out of service number.  It goes without saying that having your primary phone number out of service is not a great experience. Unfortunately I haven’t found a phone number to call and directly speak to a support representative at Google. However I did find (and have used) this web based form which results in a support technician actively working on your issue.  If you’re having trouble with your Google Voice account (in the past I’d used this online reporting form to have Google check on a caller ID problem) – going online to Google Voice with a trouble ticket is probably your fastest resolution.
