Thank you Wayne! Mwah!!! Got a new Droid 3 and wanted to load my own ringtone. Got it to my phone, under media. :) Thanks to you! I do not have a SD card in there, as of yet. Is this a must, because I don't know how to bring the ringtone into my settings. I see it on my phone in media, but how to I transfer and use it as a ringtone?
No problem, if you can't answer this right away. I'm sure you are bomb-barded with ?'s. :)

Yup - thanks!!! It's amazing how the manufacturers DON'T tell us we can just upload our own music and use any digital track we want as a ringtone. I went thru the same process with my Palm Treo (figured out the process by accident). These steps were, seriously, no different, and I love having my own tunes ringing on my phone. Just got my G2 yesterday and am getting used to the fact that it's not a Palm (I really like Palms, so moving over was not an easy decision - it boiled down to getting the G2 for a couple of hundred bucks less through a plan, but I only got it because it syncs completely with Outlook - one of those people whose whole life is in my Outlook folders). Sorry I rambled. Thanks agan!
