BlackBerry 9550 (Storm 2) Enters The Free-Zone at Amazon – $0 and $0 activation

Amazon has lowered the price on the newly released (out on 11/6/09) BlackBerry 9550 Storm 2 from $149 to free after 2 year commitment. Honestly, I have no idea whether this is just a Black Friday deal or whether it may turn into a Black Saturday, Black Sunday, Black Monday, etc, etc. If a zero price motivates people to adopt the Storm 2 -  then I betcha this price will probably stay. Not a bad deal considering that Verizon’s still moving these in-store at $179 and to get that price you’ll have to pony up $279 and then remember to mail in the $100 rebate. Update: Pricing is back to $149 in the regular Amazon store but still available for .99 at Amazon Wireless so this appears likely to have been a Black Friday promo. I’d advising waiting as it’s likely the price will return to zero as reviews of the updated Storm 2 have been tepid.
