BlackBerry 8530 Free via Amazon

The BlackBerry 8530 has appeared on Amazon at the tough to beat price of free (after 2 year service agreement). The low end BlackBerry Curve features a trackpad instead of a trackball making navigation easier and removing the embarrassing problem of dirty balls. This is a 3G-enabled BlackBerry (with Wi-Fi) smartphone with full QWERTY keyboard and touch-sensitive optical trackpad; access all your email and messaging as well as social networking. The camera is sadly only 2mp which makes it a poor choice for anyone looking to take more than the most casual of pictures.  Screen resolution is also on the low end at 320 x 240 (current BlackBerry standard is 480 x 360). A better selection would be the AT&T BlackBerry 9700 which Amazon has for only $49 more after agreement. Hit the jump for a quick comparison of the 8530 to the 9700.
