Acer Aspire One (AOD250) Netbook – $199 at Target Stores

Target Stores have this Acer Aspire One (AOD250) Netbook on sale this week. Normally $289 it’s only $199.  This is the 3 cell battery version (a six cell exists for about $300 retail). Memory is a little slim at 1GB but that can be resolved by doubling the RAM to 2GB for ony $40 at Amazon. The biggest downside to this Netbook is the lack of backlit keys (and naturally the fact that Netbooks are built for comfort of browsing the web and not speed). The Netbook comes with:

# Intel Atom N270 1.6 GHz
# 1GB DDR2 Memory
# 160 GB 5400RPM Serial ATA Hard Drive
# Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950
# 10.1″ WSVGA CrystalBrite LED Display (1024×600)
# 802.11 b/g Wireless Network
# Built In Webcam
# Windows XP Home
# 3-Cell Battery (3+ Hours)
# Weight: 2.4 lbs
