AP News v2 upgrade for iPhone follows in footsteps of NY Times App – does nothing but hang

That’s the image I get (repeatedly) after I input my zip code.

Either there’s not a lot of news in 06033 – or somebodied App needs more testing.

Congratulations to AP on upgrading their App so it now sucks as badly as the iPhone version of NY Times which exhibits similar frequent hanging problems.

WSJ iPhone App gets honorable mention for it’s slow buggy nature as well.

Do news companies sit around designing stuff that “has to look like the paper” even if it runs like crap?

FAIL x 3
