Turn by turn GPS navigation for iPhone 3G – CoPilot Live

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-8049771743505313746Here’s CoPilot Live running on an iPhone 3G. This shows that turn by turn GPS is at least capable (as if there were any questions) for the iPhone 3G. Naturally what holds the process up is Apple’s refusal (so far) to certify any GPS Navigation applicatons. Maybe with the introduction of a little competition (via the Palm Pre) the whole exclusionary Apple attitude will change. To be perfectly clear – this is a pre-release which may never be released because it would first have to pass approval by Apple to be included in their App Store.
