This picture is from the Amazon book “Armed America: Portraits of Gun Owners in Their Homes”. Seven rifles. One handgun. No shoes. No drapes. Hardly any furnishings. I guess they were once robbed and lost all that. This probably provoked a vow of “never again” and thus the arms collection. Hopefully they at least tuck that handgun sitting on top of the sofa underneath a cushion when company comes to visit.
