AT&T selling refurbished iPhone 3G – 8GB for $99 and 16GB for $199

refurbished-iphone-3gDid Santa forget to leave you a snazzy new iPhone 3G under the tree? If so, think about picking up one from AT&T for $100 off the normal prices. You’ll have to pay the same overpriced monthly iPhone tax (aka – cell phone plan) – but you can relax knowing you got the phone $100 cheaper than everyone who rushed in and bought it right away.

The normal one year warranty from date of purchase applies and if you want extra coverage, use Squaretrade for an extended warranty that covers everything but losing the phone (use squaretrade coupon code FIFTYOFF for 50% off non-eBay THIRTY30 for 30% off first $30 in items through 12/31/08).

Unfortunately many people forget that the most expensive part of any phone is the damned monthly service. Expect an $80-ish bill each and every month for an iPhone plan (minutes plus data).
